Fried rice, is one of the main traditional dishes of Indonesia and Malaysia
- 200g of steamed rice, basmati or jasmin.
- A package of prepared for Nasi Goreng .
- Optional : Tofu, shrimp, veal or chicken cut into very small pieces.
- Garnish optional : Fried or poached egg, thinly sliced cucumber or pre-fried shrimp slices.
If you have chosen to accompany your nasi goreng with tofu, shrimp, veal or chicken, fry the accompaniment in advance, preferably in a wok.
Cook the rice without seasoning.
Place the rice in a wok, or if you have chosen a side dish, add the rice to the wok where you fried that side dish, and mix the contents of the sachet, stirring until you get a homogeneous mixture. If you chose to garnish with poached egg, mix it with rice in this step.
It is ready to serve.
